Brantley Gilbert is country musics next bad a-s-s and his video “Kick it in the Sticks” shows just a few reasons why. He brings some rock and roll to the genre as well as his own style, which consists of a lot of black including his guitar. He always wears the same black hat, even at his concerts and he puts on quite the show and literally holds nothing back. The lyrics go along with the video because it’s pretty much just about how partying in the South is done, around a bonfire with some good friends just tearing stuff up in the mud and having a good time. Brantley also shows that he is a gentlemen while being a bad boy at the same time by trying to throw down when one of the other guys, who clearly does not look like he fits in with their group, tries to mess around with one of the girls. The crowd that is hanging out in the video looks a little rough and definitely not the type of people you would want to mess with, which is another main point of the song. All in all, Brantley has a lot of talent although he is just getting his start, and uses his music video to show he is just a good old down home country boy.

Alone With You
One fun fact off the bat about Jake Owen is the he is a Florida State Seminole! Which definitely earns him some extra brownie points, but not like he needed much anyways because I am already a huge fan. His video “Alone With You” is all about being so caught up with that one person that you lose control around and you make decisions you know you will regret in the morning. The video portrays a lot of emotions that deal with love and lust and he’s playing the one who is strung out by an ex girlfriend who only wants to be with him when she’s drunk. Even his adorable bulldog got to be his costar for the video. Jake said in his own words that the video is “scandalous”, but it is something that most people can relate to. No one is ever proud of things that happen like that, but it’s almost something that you can’t control and the video does a good job of showing the viewers that they’re not the only ones that it happens to. It’s directed more towards young adults though, because people that are in their early teens probably haven’t had too many experiences like that. It’s a video that definitely makes you think and maybe will even give some inspiration to be strong enough to realize that it's better in the end if you can just say no and walk away before you get into the situation even deeper.
Drunk on You
The continuation of Luke Bryan’s previous music video “I Don’t Want This Night to End” is shown in his next video “Drunk on You”. LB has hit it out of the ballpark again and made it both the number one video and song on iTunes. The song is the perfect continuation because it’s about summer love, which goes along exactly with “I Don’t Want This Night to End”. It shows him longing for the girl that he knew for the night and waiting and wishing for her to finally show up while he goes on with his performances. There are clips from his shows that make him look like a really awesome performer so that it would encourage the viewers to come to his shows. I know that when I saw him live last year, he really was a lot of fun and I am definitely looking forward to seeing him again soon. I also am not sure what the video girl is thinking by not being with him and I know I’m not alone in saying there is no way in hell I would miss the opportunity to be around him and would die of happiness if I even got to meet him. Of course in the end though he gets the girl and all is good again and it’s then up to our own imaginations of what will happen next.
I Don't Want This Night to End
The biggest heartthrob in country today would be Luke Bryan, hands down. Ask pretty much any girl and she will agree. He caters more to a college aged audience as most of his songs are about partying and having a good time with good friends. “I Don’t Want This Night to End” is his latest hit and the title basically says it all. He’s even acting in the video, while still being himself, and it shows him partying it up around a bonfire, going for a midnight swim, and falling hard and fast for a girl that leaves in the morning with no warning, implying that he will never see her again. It shows the two of them going off on their own, showing their immediate connection, and having such a great time until the early morning light. The video basically is convincing the audience that they never want the night to end. I think it’s safe to say that a good majority of people have had the experience of having such a great night and being almost afraid for it to be over because you never know what will happen after that. They added the “to be continued” to the end of the video so that it will keep the audiences attention and keep them wanting more. But that’s not even completely necessary, because who wouldn’t want more of Luke Bryan anyways?

The song should really be titled "Never Gonna be OverYou"..
Country music goes to some intense places and never fails to make some strong emotions come out and hit some soft spots in a persons heart. The extremely difficult topic of a loss of a sibling is an example in the case of Miranda Lambert’s “Over You”. Miranda Lambert is by far my favorite female country singer and her music is some that I can really relate to and enjoy. The song “Over You” was co written with her husband and fellow country music star Blake Shelton, about losing his older brother in a car accident while Blake was an early teen. The song was too emotional for Blake to sing so he handed it to wife Miranda and it has become a smash hit. The video is set in a very somber tone, the color scheme is mostly black and white and it’s winter, which generally symbolizes the cold and nature being dead. The ticking pocket watch represents how quickly time is going by and to cherish every moment. Miranda Lambert and the two boys are dressed as if they are from an earlier century and the white horse that accompanies Miranda through the forest symbolizes freedom and purity, since Blake's older brother was still young himself when he passed. The two boys running likely represent Blake and his brother and it shows the inseparable bond and love between the two. Then when the one boy (Blake's brother) disappears, it represents the other brothers (Blake) feelings of how unimaginably painful and confusing it was to lose him. Since younger brothers typically look up to older brothers as role models and best friends, it makes the song and video that much more special and heart wrenching. I could never imagine losing my little sister, who is like my best friend, so the fact that the video makes me think of what it would be like if I lost her makes me upset. Watching this video is sure to give anyone who sees it chills and certainly draw some tears from anyone who has ever experienced such a terrible loss of a sibling.

Tattoo's on this Town
If there were ever someone who knew how to tug on your heart strings, it would be Jason Aldean with his video “Tattoo’s on this Town”. The video literally puts images to the lyrics and creates the song into a short story that will definitely “leave a mark” on the viewer. The song and video are about growing up in your hometown and having a whole bunch of memories brought back from seeing certain places where important things happened, how you influenced the town and how it influenced you. It’s something that pretty much anyone can relate to because we all remember where it was that we spent our childhood, the places we raised a little hell as teenagers, the stupid mistakes we’ve made and all the happy memories along the way. “Tattoo’s on this Town” is a video that is very patriotic, set in a small town and shows all the aspects of real life. It exemplifies a wide range of honest emotions that are experienced growing up and throughout our lives; first love, friendship, fun times and creating memories, getting married, a family member leaving for the army, a first child being born, death of a loved one, and then raising your own family as an adult in the same town. The group of characters helps to make the viewers feel as if they know them, which made me feel more connected to the song and all the emotions they’re feeling can come flooding to you. Only 3 minutes and 31 seconds, this video is an emotional roller coaster that is both inspirational and a tear jerker at the same time. The song title itself tells of what it is about and the song is good as well, but the music video is what really makes it stand out and for me personally, made me like the song even more.
